Hi, I'm Devin Perry.
Founder of Small Town Marketing & Consulting. Born and raised in Bucyrus, Ohio. I spent a decade learning how big brands really work — and came home to help small businesses do the same.

The Path
A decade of big-brand work, all leading back home.
Where it started
Grew up in Bucyrus, Ohio. This community taught me the values of a close-knit town and honest, hard work. Coming up, I was always active in local sports, playing football, basketball, and baseball. In high school, I developed a real passion for business and marketing, even competing in marketing competitions like DECA and graduating with a certificate in Media Communications. After high school, I decided to move to Columbus for college.
Chipotle — the foundation
Started as crew member rolling burritos and worked my way up through the company. I gained hands-on experience with everything from building teams to maintaining brand standards. Most importantly, this is where I learned how to create a culture that keeps people motivated and working together.
Tasty Made
Helped launch Tasty Made, Chipotle's former burger concept right here in Ohio. Working side by side with industry leaders, this experience showed me firsthand how big-brand strategies apply (and don't apply) to smaller local markets.
Pasta Flyer
Joined a special projects team behind Pasta Flyer, a fast-casual pasta concept in NYC. Working with this brand showed me what it takes to operate in one of the most competitive markets on earth.
Small Town Marketing & Consulting
After living and working in the big city, I felt a strong urge to come back home and try to support the community that made me who I am. My high school sweetheart and I decided to buy a house, start a family and now we are raising our sons right here in Bucyrus. Today, I am doing the work I have always wanted to do. I decided to take everything I learned from working with major brands and use it to help local businesses bridge the gap with modern technology, marketing and culture building. My goal is to help small-town businesses adopt the digital tools they need to thrive, while also helping them create a strong internal culture that empowers their teams and strengthens their business from the inside out.
